Things going well

I've lost a little motivation this week... you can tell how I feel by how often I write! Yesterday I was in the land of blahs. I hauled the children out of the house and to the bus stop. There were SOO many people there and NO taxis or buses, so I called George and he was headed to town! We all went to town and went to Sharon's to hang out. The kids took baths, I ate popcorn and then we all went out for dinner! The perfect way to shake the blahs. Then I came home to my messy house-- sad. The kids were exhausted. :) They went RIGHT to bed.

I wanted to hide from my messy house, but then I decided to set a timer. I cleaned 5 minutes in each room, and surprisingly the house looked presentable before Peter got home.

Today I MADE myself run and so I am feeling better. I ran on a flat course today for 3 miles. I was able to run faster- 30 seconds faster per mile! Pretty good! I actually ran faster today than I used to run in high school- I guess I was pretty unmotivated back then! :)

I always imagine running around the track at Yucaipa High on those HOT days in PE midday! I can almost see my teacher (really I can, but I don't remember her name any more Mrs. D. something) holding the stop watch. Almost all the other kids, who are done with their mile run standing around, and here I come around the final turn! It is the only track I have ever run on, so when I imagine .25 mile--- there it is in my mind- high school.

I just bought myself a Christmas present! How is that for spoiling the suspense?! I saw a dress that I really loved in a magazine and I got online and BOUGHT it. That is a first for me.

Isn't it cute? (I'm sure it will look exactly like that on me! ;) I love the cap sleeves and the A line and the waist detail. It is from newportnews.com They have cute clothes and decent prices! Nice combo!- Probably why I actually bought it. I HATE when the magazine has a headline, "Budget Fall Fashions" and then I turn the the page and it has a sweater for $187!!! This Ross shopper is ALWAYS upset then. It usually makes me cluck my tongue in disgust and throw the magazine! :)

How is your day going?

i love that dress, it will look great on you! You've got all the right assets for it! hahaha! Can I say that on here? If not, hit delete.

My day is okay. I'm going to the doctor b/c I'm pretty sure my awful cold has turned into a sinus infection. Did mom tell you that Aunt Tina has swine flu??!! She has all the same symptoms as me, so I'm going to ask to be tested. I'll keep you posted.
It's been a tough few weeks just because of everyone being sick.
Abby went to preschool this morning and did great. always a great thing. Now Logan's asleep and Abby's watching Dumbo (a sad movie if you ask me) and she's asking me 900 questions...

-mom, will dumbo get older like his mom?
-how?
-why?
-when?
-what's her name?
-what are they doing?
-is she sad?
-are they mad?

etc. etc. etc.

I'm in the land of preschool questions ALL day long! ;)

Love you!

The dress is very pretty. You will look like a sexy mama!! Great job with the running. I'm at home on the couch wondering if I have the swine flu. I got sick from Tina and we have the same symptons. I will go to the doctor tomorrow if I still feeling like a train ran over me. I have missed 2 days of work and feel guilt. I have such a guilt when I call out sick. What's that all about?
Well, keep running! I'm so proud.
Love you Mom

I love you. SO great to beat your time by 30 seconds. And I dig the dress. You will look HOT in it. What color did you choose?

My day is going GREAT! I had breakfast with two junior high/high school girlfriends. Then, I came back to LB, made lunch, sat in the spa, and now it is time for naps.

Have I told you how awesome you are for pursuing excellence both spiritually and physically???

Ya you can say that here... it is the perfect dress for me!
Reasons-
V-neck great for my shoulders looking not so big and the other ah hem, "assets"! Then there is the length- great to cover up my short chubby legs. Then there are the cap sleeves to cover arms, the waist detail is perfect because one thing I do have is a waist!--- this dress is strategic!!! Love it!

T,
I got it in orange.... It is a nice creamy orange though and will look nice with my skin tone. The other choice was a pink. :( not loving that so much

Mom,
hope you feel better soon! Rest rest rest... watch NCIS and murder she wrote all day long. Don't get sicker! :)
