Homeschool is going well here. We read the Newberry Award winning book, Light at Tern Rock yesterday. It was a good book, really high reading level. Weston really understood it, though. It is about broken promises, forgiveness, and getting ready for Christmas in your heart.
I have been saving up things to recycle into homeschool crafts. Yesterday after the book was done we made this lighthouse! Weston painted it, collected the rocks, glued them on and painted the inside of the jar- all by himself.
With the help of a flashlight on the inside of the tube, it really glows! He is looking forward to bedtime because we are going to set it up in his room!
