Sierra is doing great. She is starting to talk. She says brother, more (her favorite word), I love you, thank you, dog, puppy, hi, bye and more. All her words are garbled still. It has been hard not to worry about her not talking since she is nearly three. Would you pray that her speech develops normally and quickly?
Also I haven't mentioned the H1N1. There has been 900 confirmed cases in the country. The government has actually closed travel between cities and closed schools, even the train isn't running. They take sicknesses here seriously and try to nip it in the bud. Interesting!
We have been hunkering down at home. I really am trying to keep Sierra from getting sick. After reading about the pneumonia complications this flu causes, I have not gone out for two weeks. I don't want her to have complications with pneumonia. She is so susceptible to it. So if you think of my sweet girl today, will you pray for that too?
How are people in your family? Is H1N1 in your area?

I am so happy that Sierra is talking even if it's hard to understand. It's a beginning and we will continue to pray for our precious Sierra.
You are smart to stay in your home and keep her away from this flu. It does go to the lungs. I'm still hacking but on the mend. I don't know what the numbers are but I think it's everywhere.
So we pray for your sweet girl today and everyday.
Love you so much!
I have been praying for all of you...particularly Sierra with regards to "The Swine" as I call it. It is all over the place over here...but most people are down for a week and then recover. jared had it and he has always been a sick kid...asthma, allergies, etc. He was fine...he just cried and slept a lot. He's is 100% recovered now.
I will continue to pray. Take your vitamins!!
We've had the flu really bad in Liberal for a while, but now it seems to be settling down. I heard on the radio there have been nearly 4000 H1N1 deaths in the U.S. So stay home Babe! You can't be too careful. But on the up side, Magda had it, even advanced with Asthma, and I didn't catch it, and she is totally fine now.
I will pray! The H1N1 is here and has affected children at Sunshine and Legacy. Fortunately, we have stayed healthy. How is your running going? You have some new music coming your way!;)
Hi Becca! I completely understand where you are coming from. Our little Josh does not talk much either and it's so hard not to worry. He's just over 2 years 4 months... The words that he does say are perfectly clear, but there are only about 4 or 5 of those. I'll be praying for Sierra and for you not to worry. I'm sure that they'll both be talking in no time. :)
