Many people come from all the small towns to Sukhbaatar (the capital of this province) for the holiday and to watch the events.

Naadam is a week of national sporting events. The three sports are horse racing, archery, and wrestling. The competition begins in all the small towns. They begin at the beginning of the week. The tournament winners go to the capital, Ulaanbaatar and compete there. There is one national winner in each competition.
It is nice to have a summer vacation time. Businesses are closed, our school is closed, and Peter is home! I like that part the best.
