It has been busy this week. Our co-workers and friends have returned from the states with their new baby girl. They moved into their new home down the street from us and we are so glad to have them back! It is good to have someone in our part of town again.
They moved in with all the struggles that come- no water and no electricity. I was able to help a little bit before they arrived and I was going to fill up their water containers. When I looked into them, they had cracked open and there was huge holes in the bottom of each one! They found some other nice containers in town and were able to fill them up and move on the planned day. The electrician was called on Sat, Tues, and Wednesday to come and turn on the electricity. Finally, it was clicked on!
My garden is half planted. I expanded it this year and I am planting in a more artistic style around the gazebo we built last year. I planted pole green beans to climb up on it and a "living fence" of sunflowers around the area to give it a more organized, sectioned look. Today is June 1st the official last frost day so the corn will be planted soon! Last year it snowed on June first! Such strange weather sometimes.
We also have a house guest living with us. His parents are co-workers of ours who live in UB. He is volunteering to teach English this summer. We are so thankful that he is here to lessen the burden of a heavy summer class schedule! W. is in heaven with a new play mate. I think he thinks that our Kyle is here specifically to play with him. They have been playing "Egyptian army" for days now. S. is the "monster that needs to be thrown into the rising sea so that they can win the battle!!" This is a combination of the plots of Monster's Inc, Jonah, and the children of Israel escaping from the Egyptian army! Silly boy!
S. is sleeping in W's room and that is going well. She has been sleeping through the night and so has W. So hopefully that is a new trend! I don't have my hopes up, but I am praying this continues. I feel so much better when I actually sleep!!!

It sounds like the boys are slaying the dragons! Little boys! I'm glad T and G and baby are home. I would love a picture of G baby. Maybe S will sleep with a roommate. Maybe she was just lonely. I hope that is the reason. They can share a room for life. :)
Enjoy your sleep.
Love Mom
hooray for sleep! I am hoping for some of that soon!!! I'm glad it's working out. :)
Hi! I'm so glad G and T are back safe and sound! I can't wait to see pictures of your gazebo garden! Have the irises come up yet? Are you planting potatoes too like we talked about?
