Today I taught a pizza cooking class with some other Americans that live here. Thirteen Mongolian people came to make pizza. First we talked about food nutrients and choices and then I demonstrated how to make pizza, sauce, and Italian salad dressing.
It was fun, although a little embarrassing. Our translator couldn't stay to help today, so I taught my portion in Mongolian while demonstrating how to knead dough, make pizza sauce and cut toppings. I did OK, it was rather easy to talk about what I was doing, because they could see what I was trying to talk about. :)
After the demonstration and reading the recipes together, each group made their own pizza and salad. Then we all ate together. All of the five pizzas were gone, so I guess everyone liked it.
One interesting thing happened, two of the four groups had never used a can opener before so we had to demonstrate that. I had never thought about it, but there are no can openers to buy here, so I guess it would be a foreign thing. I wonder how people open cans at home?!
Weather-Today is absolutely beautiful around 70 degrees and no wind. My veggies are coming up in my window box.
S.girl- still a terrible sleeper, she woke up at 10, 11, 12, 12.15, 12.30, 12.45, 1.15, 1.45, 3, and 6. I'm so tired. WHEN will she start sleeping better? :)

Oh Becca....I will start praying for sleep for you!!!
Congratulations on the pizza, by the way. :-) Kathy has a lot of success with her cooking classes too.
It sounds like a great class and great pizza. We will have to make pizza when you get home. :)
I'm so sorry about S not sleeping. I have to pray more about her sleeping. You must be exhausted. Miss you heart and soul!!
Forever in my heart Mom xoxoxo
