Yep-- It took some effort but I did it without stopping. That was one of my goals! Yeah! I walked and then ran another little bit.
Sad news- S. girl and I got burned yesterday. Our teapot fell off the counter and it burned my back, but S.'s FACE! I was so upset and scared, but she is fine. Mostly just red, in one area she had a little blister. I felt horrrible. I was heating the kids bath (with another teapot of water) and had leaned down to take Sierra out of the bathtub, when it slipped and got us both. I am so glad it just splashed us, didn't pour out on us, but it was such a terrible time. I had to call Peter in the middle of his class to calm down... She was laughing two minutes later. What a trooper!

Oh no! I hope you and S girl are okay. Burns are no fun!! Praise God that it wasn't worse. S girl is definetly a trooper!!
Congratulations on running a mile!! That is wonderful! We should run together when you come home and then sign up for a 5K or something. I've always wanted to do something like that. It's dream on mine to run the LA marathon...but I think that requires more running and less chocolate! :) Love YOu!
Hi There, I know how heart wretching it is when your kids get hurt, but hard as we try, some accidents are not preventable. I'm sure you remember the story about Brian getting burned. He was in the hospital for 2 or 3 days. He got an infection and that is what you have to watch out for. Fever and oozing from the burned area. How is your back? Congratulations on the run!!
