I could wait no longer, we planted seeds yesterday even while wearing hats and gloves! W loves gardening. We planted in a little window box outside. W wanted radishes, carrots, spinach, snow peas, kale, lettuce, and I think that's it. We planted and prayed they would grow.
As we were preparing the flower bed, W said, "Are we making this box so the flowers don't fall out of bed?" Cute! I replied seriously, while trying not to laugh, "Yep that's what we're doing." You should have seen how hard he was working hammering stakes and throwing seeds. We'll have lots of veggies that are outside the row... oh well.
It was 80 today... oh the joy. I LOVE going outside after a LONG winter. Okay... dinner's burning. Bye
