Tomorrow we leave Colorado and head towards Nebraska. Our goal: Omaha. It's ten hours from here. I'm starting to get butterflies about Iowa now. I haven't had time to think about it yet with all the packing and organizing. But now I'm starting to think...
"Monday the kids start school and Peter goes to work, I'll be alone in someone's basement."
"14 or more days is a long time to be living in a basement."
"What in the world are we doing?"
"We don't know anyone there!!!!"
And more things like that.
Then we got a call again today from the pastor. They found a better place for us since we need a place for so long. It's an apartment basement, 2 bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, and kitchen. It was clear we could stay separate for meals and such, so that we can have family time. :) God provides.
It's gonna be ok.

God DOES always provide. He knows your innermost desires and needs, and He delights in giving good things to His obedient children. I'm glad things are running smoothly and that you will have comfortable space to live in for the next few weeks. Do not worry about ANYTHING, but in all things, make your requests known to God...:)
Again, I agree with Megan. Our God is amazing at His provision. Make our requests known to God and He will answer. I am happy to hear of a bigger place for you all. Love you Mom

You will fill your days. Your children will adjust. They are resilient. They will make friends and learn new things and play on the playground and learn about life. Peter will thrive. He will be great.
YOU WILL BE GREAT! You are thee easiest person to be friends with. You will make friends and go get coffee, and go on a jog, and talk about life. God will provide the desires of your heart. he will be faithful. You just stay near Him and you'll be okay.
I second every thing that Shauna said. You will do well. I love you sweetheart!
