- At the beginning of October, I could run two miles in a row and by the end I had run four miles.
- I also added a hill work out. It is really a challenge. It makes running on a flat course feel easy.
- I ran my first 5K. It was not a competitive race, but I did it. My the end of the month I had taken two minutes off my time :) now around 39 minutes.
- I started the month with a 13 minute mile--- SLOW. I finished the month able to run 2 miles at a 12 minute pace- 5MPH. :)
- I almost gave up the idea of running after a difficult day of running and NOT seeing the scale move for two weeks. Then I decided to FIGHT TO THE DEATH and I started again after three days of rebellion against myself, and I know it was the right decision.
- I used to walk to warm up and now I am jogging to warm up.
- I started the month with shin splints. I found a lot of new stretches and now I have no pain. :)
- I got new shoes, which are great. I recommend the Nike Free 5.0- a great shoe.
- Tomorrow (Sunday) my dear friend Tiffany is running a half marathon. I will run a 10K (6 miles) to be there with her in spirit! She will finish 13.3 in the same time it will take me to run 6!

I think you should write books. I think this blog could be a book one day!
I LOVE YOU!!! And I can't tell you how much it means to me to have you running with me in spirit. I will think of that the whole time tomorrow. xoxo!
You're awesome!!! Let's train together and we'll run a 10k when you come home. Love you!! I'll have to get a pedometer so I can track my miles too.
I did it girls! Yay! Awesome. I think tracking your miles is a great idea Shauna. If i can run six T, you can do 13. Rock on!
