wrapping it up!

We are wrapping up our final travel weekend. From now on Peter may travel overnight, but the children and I will hunker down at home and for that I am thankful.

We had a wonderful dessert meeting last night with close friends and that was a great time. We discussed ministry, our life and prayed for Mongolia as well. We have such a great support base and prayer warriors. One woman last night told me how she prayed for us so diligently while undergoing her radiation treatments. She was so joyful as she told us, that is makes me so grateful, again, for all the people that care for us though prayer and financial gifts. It is amazing how faithful people have been to us and to the Lord. We are amazed and brought to tears regularly as we look at our monthly report and realize how many people truly sacrifice for the Lord.

We are looking forward to the last few months of our time in America and will hopefully slow ourselves down to focus on resting up for the next two-three year term in Mongolia. There is a lot to process through, pray through, discuss and needed rest so that we can go back to Mongolia well rested.

It will be a real trick if that works out since there are so many great opportunities while we are here! So we'll make that rest part of our goals and things to do list. Wouldn't that be great if the to do list said, "Rest all day!" But it is a priority for all of us in this busy world! It seems things run at such a fast pace!

We are so happy because there is a chuch group going to Suhkbataar next month and they are willing to bring some luggage for us. I will send ahead homeschool supplies and the children's new winter clothes. That is so great. We have eight 50 pound suitcases to pack, but that space and weight will go so quickly!

Oh Becca, I'm so sad that I won't get to hang out with you before you go back to Mongolia. It would be so fun to compare stories and hear about how far God has brought us during the last four years...can you believe it has been four years since PILAT? I miss you so much. Thanks for sharing so much on your blog; I love reading it!
