We found a specialist in apraxia in Corona, CA. I am so, so, so, so, so happy. The only other specialist that we have found work in New Mexico and Michigan.
We are willing to do whatever it takes to help Sierra, but it really nice to not have to relocate!

What's more is that the people that work there are trained in BOTH the PROMPT therapy (the New Mexico clinic) and the Kaufman therapy (the Kaufman clinic in Michigan) therapy. I am so glad about this because it is better for Sierra to have both options and see what works best for her.
Their apraxia specialist is a Christian and goes to my parents church. I can't believe that. It made me cry when I read that on her bio!
It will be good to live near family and friends in a town we know. That support is so crucial at times like these.
