Wednesday- Children focus
Picture worth a 1000 words- story:
It is often easier to write about Weston since he is talking every minute and doing homeschool with me now. Today I want to focus on my girl!
Sierra is really quite talented for a two year old. I can't believe she'll be three in a couple months! Time flies!
She can---
- push herself on a swing- high! She can climb onto a swing on her feet, stand up and then sit down without touching the ground.
- hang and swing on the bars.
- climb to the top of the slide and then hold onto the top of the swing set to stand on the legs.
- run half way down the street.
- hold a pencil properly and write with both hands. (the first time she held a pencil she held it in the proper "tripod" grip!"
- eat with a spoon and fork. She can cut soft food with the side of her fork.
- drink out of a regular cup- at our own risk!
- lay in the water and let me wash her hair without screaming.
- clear her dishes to the sink---- SPLASH. She loves to splash water.
- move chairs around the kitchen and get into any cupboard she wants.
- roll playdough (and she doesn't eat it anymore!)
- go potty on the toilet--- most of the time. We are down to about one accident a day. Weston says, "Oh mommy, Sierra went twinkles." Instead of tinkle!
- Sit and read books and turn the pages properly.
