and watching Peter carve our Jack-O-Lantern!
It is the happiest Jack-O-Lantern I've ever seen.
This is the only way I could get Peter to pose with our new patio. He mixed it and poured it by hand.... what a wonderful man! There will be a flower bed in the middle square.
After a two nights of enjoying our Jack-O-Lantern, I chopped him up and baked him. :) Then I put him in the blender- sounds kind of morbid now that I am writing it down! :)
Then we ate some delicious pumpkin pie. I can't get evaporated milk, so I made it with sweetened condensed milk--- yep it was like candy! It was dangerously good. We had to hide it from ourselves!
I asked Weston which if he'd rather have a Jack-O-Lantern or eat pumpkin pie. He said he'd rather eat pie. I said, "It's nice you did NOT have to choose and you could have both!" And he smiled.

Weston is turning into quite an artist/designer. I Love the pumpkin face! After reading the description of the pie, my mouth is watering. Coffee and pie anyone? Becca, you have done so many things new this year. I am so impressed! TTFN Love You, Mom
that looks like a whole lot of fun...I don't like pumpkin pie normally, so I might have to try the sweetened condensed milk. I saw you jogged 3 miles today, that is awesome!
Smiling from ear to ear! What a blessing that children can "eat the ice cream cone from both ends." So Weston had his cake and ate it too.
Great job, both of you! I was reminded of the Beverly Cleary "Ramona" books...at least, I think it was in one of those books that they made pumpkin pie with a real pumpkin--I always wanted to do that, but mom said it would be not as good and it would be really hard to do. :) You did great! Super cute pictures of Weston with the pumpkin. :)
Oh yeah! Great job, Peter! That patio looks awesome! The puppies are getting nice and big and fat! :)
Thanks guys! It was fun!
Ya the sweetened condensed milk made me LOVE pumpkin pie when before only kind of liked it. :) I don't know if that is good or bad. ha ha!
