"little by little" brought to you by the blahs!

hard morning-

*cultural troubles and judgment calls about ministry with our Mongolian friends. Also had to say no to our friend because it would mean we had to lie- difficult. In this ministry it's 2 steps forward 1 step back- the church will start here only if God does the work and we preserver- little by little.

morning chores-
* laundry---my dryer is out of commission because it seems our electricity is not strong enough to make it run. I am filling up the washer with the hose and hanging laundry. little by little

*dishes---the job that never ends :) Out of dish detergent, don't want to walk with the children to the store. so I made my own. I am letting the pots soak and getting them done little by little.

*dinner guests- Glad to hosts guests. I am defrosting some chickens and a coffee cake, it will be ready by dinner time, little by little.

* I saw a video of myself playing with the children last night. I am surprised that a person that looks as out of shape as I do can run 3 miles. It took the wind out of my "fight to the death" sails. I will not give up--- i won't. I will get in shape little by little.

*I will learn to cast all my cares on Him cause He cares for me. little by little.

This tortoise will do it, little by little S L O W L Y making it to the finish line.

TO THE DEATH---- I say. :)

I think you are incredible. I really do. You should really be proud of yourself Becca. I know what you mean about seeing a pic/video of yourself...that happened to me recently too...I thought, "wow, I guess I thought I was slimmer than I actually am!" funny how that happens, but it happens to every woman I know. :) Hang in there! don't give up! Little by little! Also, weight is only ONE aspect of a healthy lifestyle. Did you know that jogging:
-increases the capacity for blood circulation and respiratory system.
-makes your heart stronger
-increases relaxation and reduces anxiety
-counteracts depression
-helps reduce stubborn belly fat
-improve your appetite
-strengthen bone density
-makes you sleep better
-increase in good cholesterol
-prevention of type 2 diabetes
...just to name a few. :)

So hang in there!! You are really doing great!
