This is one of their favorite meals-
Seaweed rolls. Like California rolls- but the seaweed is on the outside instead of the inside.
Recipe-
Spread warm rice on seaweed sheet.
Sprinkle with toppings like meat, sesame seeds and veggies
Roll it up.
Serve with soy sauce and (ginger for Peter!)
In Thailand, they even have seaweed flavored chips--- my mom LOVED those! ;) My kids beg for seaweed plain, as a snack. Yummy.
It is good for them. It's the only natural source of iodine in Mongolia because of the sea salt it contains, and it's a veggie.... so yay for seaweed.

this is one of the (many) things that I think is so very cool about your kids. They do not seem picky when it comes to food. awesome!!!!!!!!!! I remember that first day when we picked you up from the airport and then went to mom and dad's house. your kids were thrilled to eat fresh fruit...grapes and such. I was in awe that they just sat there eating up healthy fruit. my children (like most American kids) are unbelievably picky. They don't even care that fresh fruit is available to them year round. something i would really love to change, but I don't know how. Perhaps I should send them to live with their cousins for the summer?? I would love to see Abby attempt seaweed!
I wish Liam and Everett ate like this! I wish I did, too. It looks SOOOOOO tasty!:) Does it taste ultra salty?
Weston and Sierra are amazing what they will eat.
The seaweed flavored chips are the most disgusting thing I think I have eaten. I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth forever and Weston and Sierra just love them. Yuck for seaweed.
Great picture!
