Here it is. I am not completely finished but wanted to post pictures.
Improvements-
The walls are repaired and papered.
The counter top is tile now.
We got new top cabinets.
Highlights-
I can't believe the glass cutter worked. I must say, it didn't work well. We had several broken tiles and it came down to the very last tile. We don't have a single whole tile left. There was several jagged cuts that we made with pliers and it was questionable to use them but we had no choice! I was a little discouraged. But then I opened the grout- it was white. You must understand there was only one store in the whole town that had grout. There was only one 4 pound bag. When I asked the shop keeper what color it was she shrugged. I was so happy that it was white because the print on the tiles is white and it matched so well that it hid the poor cuts and placements of the tile!

Just a small thing in the scheme of life, but I am so thankful for a clean kitchen. I spend several hours a day in there and it's a nice inviting room now.

it is beautiful!! You did a fantasic job! I love seeing pictures of your kitchen because I know we mothers are in the kitchen for at least half of our day...so now I can envision you cooking in your space, while I'm cooking in mine. Then it feels like you're somehow closer to me.
Wow, It looks beautiful!! You guys always amaze me. You will enjoy cooking and cleaning so much more because it's so beautiful! I love the upper cabinets! They look fantastic. The tile is beautiful and it look so clean and beautiful! I'm so happy for the remodel! The paint and everything you guys have done looks great!
