We ate lasagna this week.... It sounded good, so I made it!
I had a can of tomato paste, some yogurt, and some flour. I took my time and I made the noodles and made the ricotta cheese, and made the sauce. It worked great and it tasted great! It is nice to make something different sometimes. It took a long time, but wasn't difficult!
Peter was impressed and said, "You are an Italian Mama", I said, "OK as long as I'm a Hot Italian Mama!"

Mmmmm...Lasagna! You're like the little red hen...making everything from scratch! ;o) It really makes you appreciate the meal, I know...remember making hamburgers? Going to the meat market, grinding the meat, making the buns from scratch, building a fire and waiting for it to turn to coals, and THEN cooking the burgers (and hot dogs) :) What a feast! It makes me thankful for American grocery stores, though. :)
